What are the two types of sexual sin?

When a married person enters sexual relationship with a person other than their spouse it is

considered adultery.

When a single person has a sexual relationship with a person before marriage, it is

considered fornication.

Both are wrong, but adultery is far worse!

Sin separates us from fellowship with God, and Jesus came to restore that fellowship by dealing

with the sin.

Adultery is not just a sin, it's considered to be a great sin against God.

No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you,

because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”

Number 1. It contaminates what God has created to be holy.

Number 2. It it undermines the very foundation of the marriage covenant, which is trust.

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will

Whoremonger is translated

Transliteration: pornos

Pronunciation: por'-nos

from the Greek word pornos, and it refers to a fornicator, someone who has sex before marriage.

An adulterer is someone who has sex with someone other than their spouse.

Bed is translated from the Greek word

Hebrews 13:4

If you translate it literally,

means the deliberate premeditated manslaughter with malice of forethought.

Number 1. When you're protecting yourself, your family, and your possessions.

Number 2. When you're protecting your country (like a solider).

Number 1. Intentional killing is not considered to be murder when you're protecting yourself your

family and your possessions.

person who killed the thief is not guilty of murder.

Intentional killing is not considered murder when you're protecting your country, such as in times

of war, if you're a soldier.

Deuteronomy 20:10-13 (NIV)

When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. If they accept and open

their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. If they refuse

to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. When the Lord your God
