Sermon Notes
Manifestation Healing for a particular Ailment.
1. The gift of the word of wisdom.
2. The gift of the word of knowledge.
3. The gift of faith.
for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge
through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by
the same Spirit,
1 Corinthians 12:8–9 NKJV
The assumption is that divine healing and medical treatment are incompatible.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
But a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Proverbs 17:22 KJV 1900
Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food;
their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month,
because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves
for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:12 NKJV
In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz,
went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die,
and not live.’ ”
2 Kings 20:1 NKJV
“Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David
your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the
third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add to your days fifteen years. I
will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city
for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”
2 Kings 20:5–7 NKJV
Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he
recovered.
2 Kings 20:5–7 NKJV
Ointment
הלבדּ :Hebrew
Transliteration: debêlâh
Pronunciation: deb-ay-law'The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound
up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with
force and cruelty you have ruled them.
Ezekiel 34:4 NKJV
“The gifts of healings are anointings from God to heal a particular sickness or ailment.”
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
1 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
‘Gifts’ plural because there are different anointings for different ailments.
R.W. Schambach (1926–2012)
was a prominent American Pentecostal evangelist and televangelist known for his "miracle"
crusades, fiery preaching style, and faith-healing ministry. He co-founded Schambach
Ministries to promote the gospel through media and crusades, advocating a message of
"power" to overcome, famously urging believers to "put the devil in his place".
Why could Jesus heal everyone that came to Him?
For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by
measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes
in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but
the wrath of God abides on him.”
John 3:34–36 NKJV
What about the word healings?
And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and
doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and
Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
Luke 5:17 KJV 1900
But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and
He healed them all.
Matthew 12:15 NKJV
And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing
the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many
who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.
Acts 8:6–7 NKJV
“The anointing is a transference of God's Spirit, favor and power upon a person to enable
him to perform a specific duty or purpose”.
